The amount of the 14th pension this year is surprising. The allowance will be higher
According to the adopted act, the 14th old-age pension is to be at least as much as the lowest old-age pension awarded in a given year. Currently, it is PLN 1588.44. However, it is worth remembering that the government has left a loophole and can freely raise the amount of “fourteen”, which happened this time. On August 20, 2023, Jarosław Kaczyński announced that the 14th pension will amount to a maximum of PLN 2,200 net. Thanks to this, seniors will gain an additional PLN 600 than originally assumed. However, there is a catch. Not everyone will receive the benefit, and few people will receive it in full.
