On the second day of Top of The Top Soot Festival 2023, the Amber Nightingale was awarded. This year’s nominees included Daria from Silesia, Aden Foyer, Effy, Bovska, Paula Roma and Rubens. The award went to the popular sibling.

Kwiat Jabłoni played the song “Od Nowa” in Sopot and delighted the audience. In an interview with TVN24, Kasia Sienkiewicz admitted that the award is a great honor and distinction for the duo. “We probably have the best vacation of our lives this year. Thank you” – she announced with emotion. The Mayor of Sopot, Jacek Karnowski, emphasized the importance of the Amber Nightingale. He stressed on the festival stage that the statuette would be awarded by the audience, not a small jury.
The Plejada portal contacted the famous vocal coach Elżbieta Zapendowska with a question about Sopot performances. As it turns out, the expert was not delighted with the level of this year’s spectacle. “There was no high level during the Amber Nightingale competition” – she announced.

At the same time, Zapendowska admitted that she expected the Apple Flower to win because “it is promoted quite strongly in the online media and not only”. The vocal coach indicated that she would not judge the duo’s voices. “It’s more about the repertoire, which has a slight poetic touch. And this is the phenomenon of The Apple Blossom” – she concluded.
At the same time, Zapendowska admitted that the winners were not her favourites. “I personally liked Bovska and her song ‘Earth is on fire’ the most,” she said in an interview.
