There’s nothing wrong with taking your kids to music events that aren’t necessarily aimed at them. Getting to know culture from an early age develops and brings children closer to their parents. If only they willingly participate in such events, it is not worth prohibiting them from doing so. However, a parent must remember that a festival or concert with a child is a huge responsibility. The fans of Flo Rida clearly did not fulfill their parental duties.
A baby carried during a concert in the hands of the crowd. He didn’t even have headphones
The star recently played at the Celebrate Erie festival in Pennsylvania. The recording of the artist’s concert became a huge hit on the Internet. Unfortunately, this is not about a unique performance of one of the hits or great fun for the audience, but a very dangerous and disturbing incident. During the concert, the crowd carried a baby in their arms.
Flo Rida was performing the great hit “Low” from 2007, when a small child fell into his hands. The crowd of fans of the musician passed the toddler from hand to hand, so that the artist could take it over at the end. The concert scenes are terrifying. It is puzzling, first of all, why the parents allowed the child to land on the so-called wave, but also why they didn’t take care of safety headphones for a baby. Soundproofing headphones are essential if you want to take your child to a concert or festival.
Flo Rida also did not behave responsibly. Instead of stopping the concert or simply giving the toddler to a trusted person from the crew, the singer involved the child in the performance. Exposing them to noise, he rocked them to the rhythm of his next songs, and even put a microphone to his mouth. It probably won’t surprise anyone that the little boy didn’t sing the star’s great hit. Flo Rida seems to have forgotten that babies don’t talk.
When the star realized that he would not sing with his new friend, he handed the toddler over to another person on stage. The man lifted the child high up like in the iconic fragment of “The Lion King”. At this point, the recording stops.
“Gang of idiots” thunder in the comments, but there are also voices of delight
We don’t know what happened to the baby. Did the baby get lost during the concert or is it a relative of someone from Flo Rida’s crew? The toddler was not protected by the parents against noise or maybe the headphones slipped off his head? Surfing in the hands of the audience could be both irresponsible behavior of parents and the quickest (but also one of the least sensible) method of “leading” an infant out of the crowd.
In the comments under the videos, viewers do not hide their indignation. “Bang of idiots”, “why is this child there?”, “poor”, “some people should not become parents”, “I feel bad”, “the toddler will be able to thank his parents for hearing damage” – we read.
Unfortunately, there are many commenters who do not see the problem. They are touched and excited by the fact that the baby is in such a situation. They argue their calmness and joy with the fact that the baby does not cry and does not break free, so apparently he likes it. It is worth reminding here that what a child likes is not always good for him, because he simply does not understand the consequences of his behavior yet. In addition, we do not know if the baby does not cry and does not pull away because he is happy or maybe this is how he reacts to stress.
