The cooperation of Doda and Smolasty was a big shock for many listeners. Their song from the very beginning has been breaking popularity records and collecting a lot of praise, but now it turns out that they managed to do something that rarely happens to Polish artists. The number “Before the Sun Sets” is also very eagerly listened to in other European countries!

Doda has been on the music market for over twenty years, and Smolasty for less than ten. Differences in experiences, however, did not prevent them from joining forces and releasing a single together, the success of which they probably did not expect at all.

Their joint number “Before the Sun Sets” is a story about love in the face of the end of the world. In an interview, the artist confessed how she interprets the lyrics of the song. “True love will survive every end of the world. Sometimes the end of the world doesn’t have to be a sunburst, but a skirmish, a quarrel, a crisis,” she explained.

Within 24 hours of its premiere, the music video for the song “Before the Sun Sets” was watched by over 2 million people. Currently, the video has already been seen by over 13 million people, and the clip is constantly at number one in YouTube’s Time Card. However, it turns out that the music video is equally eagerly watched outside of Poland.

According to the information provided by the portal, the music video also reached the first place of the most trending videos of this platform in the Netherlands, Norway and Iceland. However, these are not all countries where the clip is included in the Karta na Czasie listing. He managed to reach 2nd place in Germany and Ireland, 4th place in Belgium, 5th place in Great Britain, 6th place in Sweden and 7th place in Denmark.

A busy period lies ahead for the artist. She is currently working on a documentary film showing her career path, and is also implementing the “Doda. Dream Show” program for Polsat and is preparing the biggest concert tour so far, which, as she announces, will be the last in her career. It is quite possible that then we will be able to hear “Before the Sun Sets” live for the first time.
