Another hit TVP series will go to Netflix
At one time, the platform became interested in a comedy production about the life of the inhabitants of the village of Wilkowyje. “Ranch”, because this is the series we are talking about, is a great TVP hit. On Netflix, the ten-season series was apparently also popular, as when the licensing deal between the platform and the public service broadcaster expired, it was quickly renewed. The series with Cezary Żak, Artur Barcis, Paweł Królikowski and other popular Polish actors can still be watched via the platform.
Another series hit by Telewizja Polska will soon be added to Netflix’s offer. This time, the platform became interested in the production of “Rodzinka.pl” with Tomasz Karolak and Małgorzata Kożuchowska. According to the Virtual Media portal, the series will hit Netflix on August 31, 2023.

The press office of Telewizja Polska announced three years ago that the series was terminated due to declining popularity. “Research has shown that viewers are most eager to look for episodes of previous series. Telewizja Polska is aware of how popular the series was and how many fans it has” – representatives of Telewizja Polska are quoted by Wirtualne Media.
Nielsen’s data showed that the last season of “Rodzinki.pl” was watched by 83,000 fewer people than the previous series. The fact prompted the decision-makers at the station to resign from continuing the series. Both “Rodzinka.pl” and “Ranczo” are also available to watch on the TVP VOD streaming service.
