How did you connect to Ecuavisa?

The contact started some time ago… Projects always take a while, but this time it was a surprise for everyone who couldn’t have known it yet. The secret could not be kept.

It’s not the first time I’ve done it (bursts out laughing). I already did it in 2016. Everything is fine, you have to do what you have to do. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the output I expected because the information was leaked ahead of time, even though my channel had known about it for a long time. What motivated you to change television house?

So the change of city influenced your decision.

Yes, it was very complex. And I love Quito. I had a good time, I like the cold. It fascinates me to be close to the lagoons and the mountains, because I am someone who does a lot of outdoor activities. That’s what I liked the most, that’s why I’m staying in Quito for a few more days, until August 31, the last day I planned to stay.

What have you learned from your time in that latest edition of BLN? It wasn’t your first time either.

It was my third time coming in BLN, and sometimes the third time in life is the charm. I loved this last season because we had everything the previous channel had (Channel one, where was this born reality) didn’t give us and we could do everything we always wanted. It is fun to do shows nice with a studio, with good lighting, a good floor, some good games, without worrying about the basic things that we’ve been worrying about for years and didn’t have the facilities for, and yet we haven’t stopped the program. Now that we had the resources, we did our best.

Very detailed. I love that everything I do is always right. But that’s not why I’m quitting. I did television on a channel that unfortunately never had a budget and left us in debt, but still made sure I didn’t do my job badly, nor did any of us who were there, because at the end of the day, the only one who does is yourself will be harmed if he makes a bad face in front of the screen.

What did you like most about your experience with Gama vision?

Being carefree about everything, because the production took care of every detail. What I particularly enjoyed was the rekindling of hope in a channel that was reported lost and I think we’ve left it on the road to something really good.

So you didn’t leave on bad terms?

Not at all. You can ask any of the people who work in that channel how my relationship has been with them and I think they will answer you with the same affection I have for them.

What expectations do you have for your first time? Ecuavisa?

I always let life surprise me, let’s see. This project is completely different from what I’ve done. I have worked reality household problems, children, many projects that people may not remember, but I did Channel one.
