The young artist made her first performances in front of the cameras as a few years old. In 2003 and 2005, she appeared in the program “From Kindergarten to Opole”, and in 2009 she took part in the auditions for “Mam Talent”. Unfortunately, the jurors did not appreciate her vocal talent at that time, which was widely reported in the media.

Since then, Sawczuk has been active in the domestic show business, developing primarily as an actress, but also as a singer. In 2019, she released her debut single titled “That’s how I see it,” and three years later she took on the name Effy. Under the new name, she released five singles, and one of them could be heard by the viewers of the broadcast on the second day of the Top of The Top Sopot Festival.
The reporter of the Plotek.pl portal, Marcin Wolniak, talked to the young star and asked her what the singer felt after leaving the stage. “I make my debut on this great, legendary stage” – she admitted at the beginning.
I got such stress. I felt unique emotions that I had never known before. Somewhere it can be compared to some kind of thrill or to total paralysis, but somewhere on stage this adrenaline carried me even more. After the performance, I cried for 15 minutes! – confessed Kasia Sawczuk.
In the next statement, she admitted that she values partnership much more than competition. And participation in the fight for the Amber Nightingale and debut on this legendary stage is a great win for her. “I assume that there is a place for each of us in this world in the industry. Each of us sells ourselves and there is no other such Effa, Ewa Farna and Margaret. Each of us is wonderful in its own way and different,” said the artist.
Kasia Sawczuk also spoke warmly about the competition. She admitted that she really likes the Kwiat Jabłoni band, whose music she has been listening to for several years. She also revealed that she maintains friendly relations with Paula Roma and Bovska. “I don’t feel this rivalry and, above all, it doesn’t beat me,” she concluded.
