The energy lump sum is granted only to certain groups of seniors. It is paid monthly together with the pension in the amount of PLN 255. It is worth knowing, however, that the benefit is indexed on March 1 each. However, who can apply for additional ZUS? The energy lump sum will be granted:
- veterans and other eligible persons;
- alternative military service soldiers who are involuntarily employed in coal mines, quarries and uranium ore mining plants and in construction battalions;
- widows or widowers of veterans, other entitled persons and forced soldiers. However, a widow or widower must receive a pension or pension in order to inherit.
What is needed to receive the benefit? There are some formalities to be completed
In order to receive the benefit, you must submit the appropriate documents to. It must be a completed ZUS-ERK form and a decision of the head of the Office for War Veterans and Victims of Oppression. It is intended to state periods of veteran activity or repression, or to confirm that one is a member of the veteran’s family in the case of widows or widowers.
