Muniek Staszczyk encourages people to go to the elections. He also mentioned Kukiza: I feel sorry for him

The electoral campaign has started in earnest and the topic of elections will arouse a lot of emotions in the coming weeks. One of the people who cares about the future of Poland is the leader of the T.Love band – Muniek Staszczyk. In the last interview for “Onet Rano” he encouraged viewers to take part in the voting and commented on his former colleague from the stage, Paweł Kukiz. He spared no bitter words.

Muniek is one of many artists who openly talk about their political views. In 2019, he released the song “Pola”, the title of which is an allegory of Poland. “This is a song about the Polish state of mind. About our sadness. Politicians, fixers, took away our healthy, normal joy. It was robbed. The song is about love, about a girl (…)” – this is how Muniek spoke about the song for “”.

Muniek is still wondering who he will vote for, but it will certainly not be PiS

The musician appeared in the last episode of the “Onet Rano” program, where he encouraged viewers to take part, because the future of the country depends on us. “I believe that everything is in our hands. After all, it is a democratic country,” said Muniek Staszczyk. In addition, according to the artist, those who do not take part in the upcoming elections will make a culpable mistake.

In an interview, the artist said that he still does not know who he will vote for, he is convinced that it will certainly not be the ruling Law and Justice party. “I will definitely not vote for PiS, because I have never voted for them,” said the 59-year-old musician.

The topic of Kukiz and faith appeared in the conversation

The host of the program, Odeta Moro, asked the singer about his attitude to Paweł Kukiz. It does not seem that the artist was to follow in his footsteps and become involved in professional politics. He confessed that in his opinion Kukiz lost a lot because of this move. “I actually feel a bit sorry for Paweł. I think he has lost his credibility among fans, but this is his choice,” commented Muniek.

The topic of the Church also came up in the conversation. The artist does not hide his attitude to faith and has often spoken on this topic. He admitted that he is much more willing to participate in masses celebrated by monks, because there the Word of God does not mix with politics. In addition, he mentioned that “there are idiots everywhere.” “I have many Dominican and Franciscan friends, but there are idiots everywhere: in the church, in politics, in music, in the media,” he added.

“Faith is grace, a slightly different matter than such devotion. I do not persuade anyone, but when someone asks me, I say that I am a Catholic. First of all, Christianity is difficult for me at the moment, because it is not fashionable, but it is rather on mercy and tolerance,” admits Muniek.
