The house in question was located in the village of Jeruzal where most of the scenes for the series were filmed. Some photos were also taken in Latowicz and Sokuly, located near Warsaw.
Herba’s grandmother’s house demolished
The characters of the series went to the house of the herbalist’s grandmother (played by ) for advice or to ask for medicines for various ailments. Late last year, fans reported on Tik Tok that the hut had been demolished. Earlier, it was visited by YouTubers from Urban Explorers, who drew attention to the poor technical condition of the building.
What was built in its place?
A year later, the fans decided to go again to the place where the herbalist’s grandmother’s hut used to be. A new one had already been built in its place.
“This year, the crew and I decided to go to this place again to see if these few boards [które zostały z domku] Is it still there or has it collapsed. […] Currently, Grandma’s cabin looks like this,” one fan of “Ranch” wrote.
Some time ago, in front of which there was a cult bench. It was attended, among others, by Pietrek (Piotr Pręgowski), Solejuk (Sylwester Maciejewski), Hadziuk (Bogdan Kalus) and Stach Japycz (Franciszek Pieczka). Many people were afraid that as a result of the renovation, the building would lose its former charm and would no longer resemble the iconic place from the “Ranczo” series. Fortunately, the owner did not plan any radical changes, and the painting was only refreshed.
In the village of Jeruzal, i.e. Wilkowyje in the series, there is also a famous stop where the adventure of the main character began, a market, a shop, a church and a school. The manor house where Lucy lived is located in the village of Sokule.
