Many women make three mistakes when washing their face. And then cry that blackheads and pimples

A beautiful, smooth and imperfection-free face is a dream of many people. We buy various specifics to improve its appearance, and yet the blackheads keep coming back. It turns out that it may be the fault of bad washing.

It would seem that something like washing your face is not complicated or time-consuming. Just wet your hands, apply some gel or foam on them, spread over the face and rinse. However, it turns out that during this operation we can make a few mistakes. And these in the future – quite near – will result in the appearance of pimples.

Hours spent in the bathroom? Just take care of washing

Every beautician knows that the basis for healthy and beautiful skin is proper cleansing. On profiles dedicated to this topic on Instagram or TikTok, we often see them using several – a dozen or so treatments during only one evening toilet. For many people, such attention to detail is overkill and a waste of time. If you belong to them, it is worth knowing that at least for washing your face, you should apply yourself properly.

Do you have blackheads? Maybe you’re washing your face wrong

Recently, a cosmetologist with the nickname Klaudiskin commented on this topic. In her recording, she listed some common mistakes that we make while washing our face. As a result, blackheads appear on the skin of many people. So how to wash your face so that it is really well cleansed? The expert talks about three issues.

The first mistake is touching your face with dirty hands. We are talking not only about how we do it during the day, but also when washing. Just as dishes should be washed with a clean sponge, the face should be washed with clean hands.

Dirt and bacteria from your hands can transfer to your face, which can lead to irritation or breakouts

– we read in the post. Another issue is too short a wash. It is not enough to briefly “fly” the whole face. This should take at least 30 seconds. Also, do not forget about the area around the ears, jaw and hairline.

Too quick or incomplete cleansing can leave impurities, make-up and excess sebum on the skin, which can exacerbate skin problems

– says the specialist. The third mistake that many people make, and which few of them think about, is the temperature of the water. It turns out that rinsing your face with too cold or too hot water can contribute to the deterioration of the skin condition.

Hot water can lead to dehydration, while cold water can cause vasoconstriction and irritation. Choose lukewarm water to gently open your pores and make cleansing easier

– advises the cosmetologist. It is worth remembering that proper face washing is essential if you care about healthy skin. However, it does not always solve all problems. It is best to contact a specialist who will choose the right care especially for your skin type and dispel any doubts related to skin problems.
