Artur Rojek is one of the most important names on the Polish popular music scene in recent decades. He was one of the co-founders of the band Myslovitz, which was founded in 1992. The singer was a member of it for twenty years. Later, he decided to part ways with the band and start a solo career.
“She acted like such an extreme fan”
The hits of the Myslovitz band are for many Poles one of the most important songs of the 90s and 00s. At that time, the band was at the peak of popularity, and many of us knew the lyrics of their numbers by heart. One of such people is also the singer Natalia Szroeder, who was a great fan of the band in those days. The singer has never hidden the fact that Rojek is one of her favorite artists:
I am a big fan of Artur Rojek. I grew up on his music, on his voice, I fell in love and experienced internal dilemmas with his songs – she said years ago in an interview for PAP Life.
During her concerts, Natalia Szroeder often decides to sing a piece from the Myslovitz repertoire. During her last performance at the Summer Sounds festival in Warsaw, she sang the band’s legendary song “The Length of the Sound of Solitude”. Now Artur Rojek has decided to speak on this subject. In an interview with the portal, he revealed that the girl had already remembered him in the past:
I met her when I didn’t know that she was Natalia Szroeder. This girl used to come to our concerts and she was always in the front row. She was acting like such an extreme fan. Only later did I find out that there is a girl like Natalia Szroeder who sings. All of a sudden I saw a picture of her and I was like, ‘Wow, that’s the girl who used to come to the concerts.’ I know she’s a fan
Artur Rojek also confessed that he was very aware that he was Natalia’s idol. The singer must have been very impressed when she managed to play on one stage with her idol a few years ago. In addition, the singer admitted that he was a fan of her: “I like her very much. A very nice girl. She sings great, she has a great voice” – he emphasized.
