James Cameron is famous for paying attention to the smallest details in his films. However, even the master of cinema had shortcomings. You might not have noticed this error in “Titanic”.

“” is one of the most popular films in the history of cinema. Anyway, in the case of works, the achievement desired by the creators begins to become a standard. Three films by the cult director were included in the list of the four highest-grossing films of all time. We are talking about the aforementioned “Titanic” and the two parts of “Avatar”.

A mishap in the Titanic. They didn’t notice that it couldn’t happen

Cameron is considered an incorrigible perfectionist in the film industry, but mistakes happen to the best. Especially when there is a lot of work and the pressure is getting tighter. It’s no wonder that there are a few errors in “Titanic”, which, years after the premiere, are picked up by more fans of the production.

American astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson pointed out to the creators of “Titanic” an error in the arrangement of stars that can be seen in the sky during one of the memorable scenes. In 2012, a re-release of the film was released, the fragment was corrected. However, this is not the end of mishaps.

Titanic glitch. It’s about the Statue of Liberty

Thanks to Jack’s sacrifice, the movie Rose survived the tragedy of “Titanic”. At the end of the video, DeWitt Bukater is standing in the rain knowing he’s about to start a whole new life. The cruise changed her forever. In a dramatic yet hopeful moment, Rose looks up at the Statue of Liberty, which in 1912 couldn’t have looked like the movie.

Fans of “Titanic” noticed that in the memorable scene, the historical object has a similar color to the one we know today. In addition, the sculpture holds a flame glowing with a golden glow. The statue didn’t always look like this. The monument was erected in 1886, then its color was copper, and it was repainted only 35 years later. The Titanic had sunk nine years prior to this change. In turn, the light visible on the flame in the film is the floodlights that were installed on the monument on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of its existence – in 1986.
