9 years ago they took part in “Kitchen Revolutions”. How are you doing now? “It’s a big challenge”

Thanks to “Kitchen Revolutions” and Magda Gessler, many declining establishments returned with a bang to the gastronomic market. One of them was the Zajazd pod Zamkiem in Kętrzyn. After 9 years of participating in the program, the owners decided to reveal how the TVN show actually affected their business.

The first episode debuted on TVN in early March 2010 and has enjoyed unflagging popularity ever since. During the broadcasting hours, the viewers follow with bated breath the changes that the host introduces in the premises of the participants.

They were participants in the “Kitchen Revolutions”. How did Magda Gessler evaluate the changes in the premises?

One of the last episodes of the 9th edition was shot at Zajazd pod Zamkiem in Kętrzyn. There was a lot to change, from the menu to the interior design, but there was no throwing plates, as Magda Gessler is often in the habit of doing. A few weeks after the metamorphosis was completed, the host reappeared at the restaurant to assess how the owners were doing without her help. After checking the dishes, she gave them a strong five. However, nine years have passed since then. How is the place working now? Participants of the kitchen show talked about it in a short interview.

The owners of the premises revealed how the program affected their business. What was the key?

A short interview with the owners of the premises appeared on TVN’s Instagram profile. They admitted that before the arrival of Magda Gessler, their business was in decline, so they were very surprised when real crowds began to visit them soon after. This gave them motivation to continue their work. – In terms of money, when we went through revolutions, it was hard for us to believe what was happening. There were crowds of visitors, lots of guests. It is a program that probably motivated us to this work – said the owner.

Her brother also spoke. He emphasized that the decision to participate in the program was not dictated by the desire to promote the premises, but indirectly contributed to it. “That was an important aspect of the program,” he said. They both agree that “Kitchen Revolutions” are just the beginning of hard work and you have to be aware of that. To maintain a good level and not to lose the metamorphosis, you have to put a lot of effort and consistently achieve your goals. – This is a big challenge. After the revolutions, after the program, you have to mobilize yourself to work hard to maintain the level, to cope – summed up the owners of Zajazd pod Zamkiem.
