Buckingham Palace has quietly removed HRH Prince Harry’s title from the royal family’s website. Under the terms of the 2020 ‘Megxit’ deal, the palace said Harry and Meghan Markle could keep their HRH titles but would not be allowed to use them after they step down as royals.
In a statement on 18 January 2020, Buckingham Palace said: “The Sussexes will no longer use their HRH titles as they are no longer active members of the Royal Family.”
Even so, parts of the royal website have been referring to Harry as His Royal Highness for the past three years, apparently incorrectly at the time.
This rejection of the British royal family Meghan Markle is a sign that several relationships have ended

Following a series of updates last Friday, the Duke of Sussex is no longer referred to as HRH (His Royal Highness). A number of other errors were also changed, including one that implied 38-year-old Prince Harry was 5-year-old Prince Louis.
Meghan Markle’s official royal biography stripped her of Her Royal Highness three years ago. However, it remained on some parts of the royal website, including a quote from a speech given in 2019. A section of the royal website detailing the background and duties of the royal family now refers to Meghan as “she” or “the duchess”. instead of “Your Royal Highness”.

A spokesman for Buckingham Palace said it had regularly updated the website following the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II and that outdated information had now been amended. “The website of the Royal Family contains over five thousand pages of information about the life and work of the Royal Family. Following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the content has been regularly reviewed and updated. Some content may be out of date until this process is complete.”
The development is the latest in a string of embarrassing incidents for the pair, who recently had their $20 million Spotify contract pulled and a senior executive called them “fraudsters.” They also saw their public polls drop. (AND)
