Fest Festival 2023. Who will not get a refund for tickets? We check

In the event of bankruptcy, the organizer of the Fest Festival is blocked from disposing of the funds, unless the court rejects the company’s application. However, there is still the issue of sales intermediaries, and not all of them will feel responsible. Tickets and passes could be obtained using the offers of various distributors, including e.g. eBilet, FollowTheStep, Empik and Goingapp.pl. It turns out that the last of them will not give money to all festivalgoers. The decision depends on the date of purchase.

People who decided to purchase before November 7, 2022 can be calm, because they will receive a refund automatically within 14 days. It turns out that later the platform offered only sales, and the party in the contract to which the money for the purchases was transferred was the organizer, which makes him obliged to refund customers. It is not known how this situation will be finally resolved, but the would-be participants of the festival do not hide their indignation, and well-known law firms announce their willingness to help solve the contentious issue on the Internet.
