The third edition of the International Language and Literature Biennial and a work by the actress Luisa Cuesta are part of the activities agenda.

International Biennial of Language and Literature

Under the slogan “The word in time of coronavirus”, Copol holds the third edition of the International Biennial of Language and Literature. Exhibitors from Ecuador, Cuba, Peru, Venezuela and Mexico participate. The event, which began this Friday, brings together 22 scientific papers and takes place in virtual mode, through Zoom.

For this Saturday, December 4 activities will start at 09:00Liset Lantigua, Raúl Vallejo, Yosbany Vidal (Cuba) and Oswaldo Encalada will participate in different rooms. At 10:00, Gabriel Cornejo, Galo Guerrero, Martín Riofrío and Lucrecia Maldonado. While at 11:00, Francisco Delgado will offer a keynote address. Presentation of Christmas play and concert

Casal Catalá will present this Saturday, December 4, the family Christmas play The cowherd boys. The activity, in person, will take place at 11:00 in the auditorium of the Municipal Museum, which is located on Sucre streets between Chile and Pedro Carbo.

While this day, at 4:00 p.m., the concert will be held on the ground floor of the Museum of Popular Music A light at Christmas which will be in charge of the Children and Youth Orchestra of the Municipality of Simón Bolívar.

Entry for both activities is free.

Musical show at the Sánchez Aguilar Theater

The Guayaquil band Red Case will perform this Saturday, December 4, outside the Sánchez Aguilar Theater, in the Café Vino Bar space. The group’s show will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will run until 00:00. Admission is free.

Luisa Cuesta at the Centro de Arte Theater

Nostalgia kitchen It is called the play that the artist Luisa Cuesta presents this Saturday, December 4, starting at 8:00 p.m. in the Multiartes room of the Centro de Arte Theater. The piece is about “a cooking program that recovers the great recipes of yesterday, bringing to mind events from the past.” Cuesta is accompanied by dancers Gerardo Vera and Boris Posligua.
