“For us, it’s a loss, more than a friend, a family member,” Augusto Enríquez, actor and director of the theater group Kurombos, commented very sadly. Both of them met at their theater beginnings, when in 1977 they founded the group El Juglar. “We shared the 15 years that the group lasted, the 15 years that we lived together almost as brothers, as a family.”

Enríquez believes that Lucho Aguirre leaves a great legacy of “creativity, perseverance, constant struggle for what was the work of theater, television, film and teaching. He was an outstanding actor not only on stage, but also in production and as a creator of new generations of actors.”
