Their first meeting took place during the rehearsals of the Pod Egidą cabaret. Young, popular, with an unwavering position in the industry and a baggage of life experiences. She was a divorcee and he too had a failed marriage. However, he was considered a womanizer, and a new woman appeared at his side every now and then. The young artist was another one that turned his head. But at first she paid no attention to his advances. – He made clear promotions, but they did not exceed the limits of old-fashioned gallantry – . Only when they met in SPATIF something sparked. Rawik fell in love without memory. “He was a stunningly beautiful man. Everything about it fascinated me,” she said. He also seemed to have strong feelings for her. He admired her beauty and admired her artistic soul. “He saw so much more in me. It soon turned out that Gogolewski was not faithful to her. He didn’t even hide the fact that he was seeing other women. Knowing her beloved’s past, Rawik sensed the end of their common path. When she saw him one day at the Actor’s Club in company, she completely broke down, but it turned out that the journalist was one of the few mistresses he had at that time. He also cheated on her with Barbara Pietkiewicz, with whom he went to Paris. Then they parted for a short time, but in the end Rawik gave him one more chance, doing everything to keep him by her side. At some point, she abandoned her career altogether to focus on regaining his affection. However, this did not help, because after almost 7 years of relationship, Gogolewski left her for another woman.

The separation led Rawik to the brink of despair, she even tried to take her own life. – I lay down in the kitchen of our apartment in the Old Town, turned on the gas, drank cognac. Andrzej Jaroszewski saved me – several decades later, adding that it was then that she experienced clinical death. During the promotion of her autobiography, the singer confessed that she overpaid the tumultuous relationship with depression, and that the suicide attempt was the ultimate act of desperation. – Ignacy tired me terribly – she recalled in an interview with styl.interia.pl. – Finally, I fell into such a depression that I thought: if I can’t be with him anymore, and I can’t be without him, then it’s time to die, to fall asleep – she added. – This relationship gave me a lot, but if I had stayed with Ignacy, I would probably be dead a long time ago – she said during the premiere of her book. In the end, they both made their lives together. Rawik found happiness with Marek Petrusewicz, a swimmer, and Gogolewski married Marina Niecikowska, an official of the Ministry of Culture.
