Piotr Rubik lost his head for Agata Paskudzka. How did they meet?

They met in 2005 during the Miss Polonia finals, in which Agata, then still Paskudzka, won the title of second runner-up. Piotr Rubik, creating the musical setting for the event, was immediately enchanted. Before the final performance, he approached the girl and announced that in his opinion she was the most beautiful regardless of the election result and he would play only for her. In with Izabela Janachowska, the composer revealed that his future wife had previously appeared in his dream:

There were a lot of nice girls, and yet I immediately noticed only Agata. I only saw her (…) I dreamed of Agata a bit earlier. After the premiere of ‘Tu es Petrus’ in June, I had a motorcycle accident and for 6 weeks I was in a cast, hospitalized and rehabilitated. I had a dream that in the hospital, what are these big elevators (…) I dreamed that the door opens and she comes out.

Agata, on the other hand, revealed that she did not pay attention to Piotr because of the age difference. She also didn’t know who Rubik was. At that time, she was focused solely on the competition.

Many years later, Agata Rubik revealed on her Instagram profile what the backstage of their first date looked like. It turns out that Piotr Rubik picked up his future wife, playing the role of James Bond on the set of the program “My First Time”. His chosen one then became agent 007’s girlfriend, fulfilling his dream at the same time.

14 years ago I got a call from TVP2 asking for help in fulfilling the dream of the hero of the episode, Piotr Rubik, who wanted to play the role of James Bond. Agent 007’s partner was supposed to be no one else, but a red-haired girl I met during the Miss Polonia 2005 grouping? So I had no choice and that’s how it all started…

However, the beginnings of their acquaintance were not the easiest. The model was a freshly baked high school graduate who started her studies at the journalism department in Wrocław, so she could not appear in Warsaw too often. So the composer decided to temporarily move to his beloved’s hometown. He rented an apartment to be close to Agata. Three years later, in June 2008, they got married.

Piotr Rubik with Izabela Janachowska admitted that he knew that he and Agata were destined for each other.

I believe in destiny. No pick-up will work if we’re not meant for each other. We succeeded because we were meant to be together. It was just written in the stars.

Less than a year after the wedding, the couple’s first daughter, Helena, was born, and in 2013, Alicja. As it turns out in their case, the age difference was not a problem from the very beginning, and starting a family only cemented their feeling. In Izabela Janachowska, Piotr Rubik confessed:
