Harrison Ford reveals behind the scenes of the production. He revealed the secret of the famous hat
On the occasion of the premiere of the last film in the series, Harrison Ford gave an interview to the GQ portal, in which he recalled his work on the set of “Raiders of the Lost Ark”. During the conversation there were many funny anecdotes, including the one about the famous hat. The behind-the-scenes clip shows a scene in which the actor with a visibly grimace fixes the characteristic fedora on his head with a stapler. So far, many thought that the scene was purely humorous, but is it really?
Ford said this was the only way to keep his character’s headgear always in place, even though the fight and chase scenes were often very dynamic. To confirm the credibility of these words, the actor showed the camera the scars that he still has on his forehead and, as he argues, are the result of repeatedly attaching the hat with a stapler. “I still do, see?” – he asked the journalist, showing him the traces. “You do what you have to do,” he added seriously after a moment.
