The last episode of The Ranch aired in November 2016. Despite this, viewers continue to return to reruns of episodes, following the adventures of the inhabitants of Wilkowyj. Among the most popular and liked characters of the production was Tomasz Witebski, played by Jacek Kawalec. On a daily basis, the actor carefully guards his private life, he also rarely appears at industry events. However, he made an exception for… fishing competitions.
From a shy bachelor to a brilliant intellectual
Years ago, a patch with the inscription “Blind Date” almost stuck to Jacek Kawalec. In the years 1992-1998, he was the presenter of the program beloved by Poles and it seemed that viewers would associate him with him. The breakthrough in his career, however, was the performance in the series “Ranczo”, which became one of the most popular Polish series.
The audience appreciated his acting skills and the metamorphosis that the character underwent over the years. Tomasz Witebski changed from a shy and sometimes cowardly bachelor to a self-confident man with his beloved woman by his side. Kawalec coped brilliantly with both of these creations, thus proving that he is a versatile artist. Also in private life – he does not always shine in the spotlight, which emphasizes his participation in fishing competitions.

The famous Polish actor – despite his great talent and charisma – shuns red carpets and spotlights. Jacek Kawalec closely guards its privacy and rarely appears at grand gatherings or industry events. An exception was made for the fishing competition organized by the actress Laura Łącz. He faced other Polish stars such as Włodzimierz Matuszczak, Sebastian Fabijañski and Waldemar Błaszczyk.
