When is the 14th pension? The payout period should be flexible
This year, the 14th pension was really loud and there were many unknowns. Currently, the government has officially confirmed that fourteen have entered the pool of permanent benefits. This means that seniors can count on an additional transfer both this year and in the following years, which is to help you fix your home without submitting an application. However, this is not the only change. The payment date is supposed to be flexible, which means there will be no fixed datealthough most likely the money will reach seniors’ accounts at the turn of August and September.
Who will not get the 14th pension in 2023? Income threshold applies
14. The full pension is to be equal to the minimum benefit. This year, seniors can count on a transfer in the maximum amount of PLN 1,588.44 gross. Why at the maximum? Because when calculating it, the income threshold of PLN 2,900 will be applied. Persons who receive higher benefits must take into account deductions from the “fourteen” according to the principle of PLN for PLN, up to PLN 50. Below this amount money will not be paid out. According to the projected calculations of the portal, people who receive a pension of PLN 4,438.44 and more will not get a penny from it.

How much money will go to seniors? According to the preliminary and forecast calculations made by “” the 14th may be:
- PLN 1,000 gross pension – PLN 1,444.48 net “fourteen”
- PLN 2,000 gross – PLN 1,314.48 net
- PLN 2,500 gross – PLN 1,254.48 net
- PLN 3,000 gross – PLN 1,175.48 net
- PLN 3,500 gross – PLN 780.48 net
- PLN 4,000 gross – PLN 385.48 net.
However, it is worth knowing that flexibility is to apply not only to the date of payment, but also to the amount of the additional benefit itself. By 31 October of a given year, the Council of Ministers, with the help of a regulation, may specify a higher amount of the next “fourteen”.
