In it, he plays a retired movie star and stuntman, and in the clip, together with his daughter, he fondly recalls his career as they watch fragments of his films together. “It hurts you?” the woman asks at one point. “Very,” replies Chan’s character. Then the words: “You are an amazing father.” Then the man completely falls apart.

All because Chan – one of the richest Chinese – has renounced his real daughter Etta. “I made a mistake that many men in the world make,” he said at a specially convened press conference years ago.
Etta never had her father’s support
Etta is his illegitimate child. She was born in 1999 as a result of the actor’s affair with beauty queen Elaine Ng Yi-lei. Chan has been married to Joan Lin since 1982, and in his 2015 autobiography he mentions that he apologized to both his wife and son for their extramarital relationship. He would never meet his daughter.
