About Blanca Stajkow before this year’s Eurovision contest there was not much noise. Her song “Solo” was played by radio stations, but did not stand out in any way from other songs. The recognition of the artist began after winning the Polish pre-selection for the international show. Initially, the singer had to deal with a lot of hate, but it soon turned into huge support.
Overnight, all of Poland heard about “Bejba”
All because of the singer’s hard work, who made a lot of progress and sang much better in Liverpool than in Warsaw. She even managed to get to the final of the competition, but in the end she took only 19th place. Despite this, she gained enormous recognition and her song was noticed in other countries. She even managed to get into the UK Top 100 Singles of the Week.
On the other hand, Polish fans of the artist, when they noticed the flourishing of the artist’s stage abilities, started jokingly calling Blanka “Bejba”. This phrase is the first word of the song “Solo”, which is sung in this way from the singer’s lips. The expression “Its kajna krejza”, which in the song follows right after the famous “Bejba”, has also become a cult. When Blanca managed to go to the Eurovision final, the publishers of the Gazeta.pl homepage decided to celebrate this event by detailing this phrase!

“Bejba” can become a trademark
Last Sunday, the singer had the opportunity to perform in the program “DzieĆ Dobry Wakacje”, where she presented her latest song “Boys Like Toys”. Earlier, she also gave an interview to Robert Stockinger and Anna Senkara, who decided to ask her about her musical plans for the future. The breakfast manager became interested in registering the phrase “Bejba” as a trademark.
Blanka did not answer this question directly, but only suggested that certain steps to register this phrase had already been taken. However, she did not disclose any details about the statuses of the application. It is only known that the letter regarding the registration of “Bejba” as a trademark was submitted to the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland, and the application was submitted by Warner Music Poland on behalf of the artist.
The procedure of registering a trademark is not the simplest and sometimes you have to meet certain conditions and complete many formalities. Submitting an application to the Patent Office is one of the first steps in the registration process. The case is pending and we will have to wait for a decision on registration.
