TikTok user @doktor_roslinka described the beneficial properties of banana peel in one of the recordings and informed how to prepare fertilizer. There are three methods.
- Liquid fertilizer. Put two peeled banana peels in a jar and pour 1 liter of warm water over them. Close the lid, put the vessel in a dark place and wait 2 days. Pull out the skins and water the orchid with the ready preparation.
- Slurry. The method is similar to the above, but in this case the jar should be set aside for 2 weeks and the contents should be stirred every 2 days. The conditioner should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10 and watered orchids.
- Powdered fertilizer. Cut the skins into small pieces and dry in the sun or in the oven. Blend them into a powder and mix three tablespoons into the topsoil in the pot.
