The 81-year-old actress was born on July 27, 1941 in Brzeziny near Łódź. After graduating from high school, she started studying at the Lodz film school, where she also met her future husband, Włodzimierz Nowak. The man often accompanied her in bold film scenes, and she was perceived as one of the sex bombs of the Polish People’s Republic, but she did not see herself that way.
When she graduated in the mid-1960s, she began performing in several Warsaw theaters. However, she gained the greatest fame thanks to her roles in such films as: “I don’t like Monday”, “Sanatorium pod Klepsydrą”, “There is no rose without fire” or in the series “Alternatywy 4”.
