Since July 1, the traditional cured meats, cebiches, stews, moros, broths and sweets are part of the menu served at the Guayaquil de mis Sabores festival, at the Unipark hotel. La Fundadora station is an important part of this event which includes hot chocolate, planchados, morocho, pan de dulce, Galo Plaza bread, figs with cheese.

The Guayaquil de mis Sabores festival has different opening times. Your first service starts at the breakfast buffet, from 06:00 to 10:00. There are sandwiches with pork, onion, bolones, tigrillo, muchines, natural juices. It costs $13 (plus tax, excluding drinks).
Lunch starts from noon to 4pm ($22 plus tax) and La Fundadora from 4pm to 8pm ($9.50, including sweets).

The artist Miguel Varea (1948-2020) will have his first individual exhibition in Guayaquil. The temporary room of the National Cocoa Museum houses The torn line of existence, an exhibition curated by Susan Rocha. The exhibition presents the questions of this cartoonist, for whom the line was the path along which his plots and shadows ran, as the portrait of deep internal struggles that made him a seeker of himself who did not fit into the world. The exhibition opens on Thursday 6 July. Free entrance. In Panama and Imbabura. Attention from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10am to 5pm (last entry at 4.30pm).
MAAC: projection of the movie Argentina, 1985 (Free entrance)
The Best Foreign Language Film nominee at the last Academy Awards will be screened for free at the Anthropological and Contemporary Art Museum, MAAC. Is about Argentina, 1985, a title inspired by the true story of Julio Strassera and Luis Moreno Ocampo, as well as their young legal team of unlikely heroes in their battle between David and Goliath, to bring Argentina’s bloodiest military dictatorship to justice against all odds in a race against the clock to do justice to the victims of the Military Junta. The North American Ecuadorian Center (CEN) presents Broadway bites, a new micro-theatre cycle in English, inspired by prestigious American theater musicals. Under the direction of Jaime Tamariz, the CEN will premiere three works that will be performed every Wednesday in July until August 9. This July 12 it’s your turn Roxya loose adaptation of the musical Chicago, in which the audience will meet Roxy, a woman accused of murdering her lover, and her lawyer Billy Flynn, the most cunning and shrewd of the media, who together will create a false and dramatized story to free the protagonist. Rocio Maruri and Israel Maldonado perform. Free entrance. Two performances a day, at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. In the Paulsen Studio (visitors can go to the box office from 6.30 pm to request their tickets).

This is the central question of the work star signs, written by Nick Payne, an explosive romantic comedy about death and free will, about time and memory. Winner of the 2022 Olivier Award for the best replacement of work, star signs tells the story of the beekeeper Rolando and the quantum physicist Mariana: two star-crossed lovers whose relationship we see in different variations of “what if?”.
