The feature film “Negu hurbilak” will premiere at the Locarno festival

The fiction feature film “Negu hurbilak”, directed by Negu Kolektiboa, will premiere on August 9 at the Locarno film festival, within the Cineasti del Presente section, which shows first or second films by emerging filmmakers.
The first feature film of the collective has the participation of EITB. Shot in Zubieta, the film tells the story of a woman on the run, just after ETA announces the end of its armed activity.
Jone Laspiur, the only professional actress in the production, is the protagonist of the film, where she shares the cast with neighbors from Zubieta.
Negu Kolektiboa is made up of Ekain Albite, Mikel Ibarguren, Nicolau Mallofré and Adrià Roca, who attended the Superior School of Cinema and Audiovisuals of Catalonia, and “Negu hurbilak” is their first feature film.
