Vitoria welcomes jazz

After this Saturday’s aperitif with Jazza Parkean, this Monday, July 3, begins the Vitoria Jazz Festivalwho takes over from Getxo.
The Jazz Up cycle will take jazz music to the streets every day, starting on Monday; the music will sound at noon and in the afternoon in the Plaza de la Memoría, the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca and the Mendizorrotza pools.
In the Teatro Principal, the concerts will start before Mendizorrotza, the main stage of the event that will be programmed from Wednesday. Adrián Royo will perform at the Principal on Monday, Chelsea Carmichael on Tuesday, Moisés P. Sánchez and Marco Mezquida on Wednesday, Samora Pinderhughes on Thursday, the Libérica project on Friday and the Brazilian Yamandu Costa on Saturday to close the cycle.
The Mendizorrotza lineup, for its part, is made up of Baldo Martínez and Maria Schneider together with the Oslo Jazz Ensemble (Wednesday), Brad Mehldau and Immanuel Wilkins (Thursday), Kandace Spring and The Bad Plus group (Friday) and Ariel Briguez and Silvia Perez Cruz.
