The performance of Zenon Martyniuk and the Akcent group during this year’s Włodawa Days was one of the biggest attractions of the evening. The famous disco polo band, which promoted such hits as “Through Your Green Eyes”, “Life is Moments” or “Przekorny fate”, played a concert on July 1 near the Białe Lake. The atmosphere was supposedly good, but the event was almost interrupted after a nasty incident. One of the participants threw eggs at the leader of the formation.

According to the police from Włodawa, the egg-thrower was caught by the police. His identity was established thanks to surveillance footage and photos taken by concert attendees. As it turned out, it was a 57-year-old man who told officers he did it because he “didn’t like the music.” “He heard allegations of disturbing public order and voluntarily submitted to a fine and agreed to a penal measure in the form of a ban on entering mass events. Soon the case together with the application for punishment will be transferred to the District Court in Włodawa” – sub-inspector Bożena Szymańska.
