Daughter of an actor Drena DeNirorevealed his son’s death in a moving tribute in instagram on sunday. “My beautiful, sweet angel,” the 51-year-old director began the lengthy post. “I loved you without words or description from the moment I felt you in my womb.
“You were my joy, my heart and everything that was pure and real in my life,” he continued. “I wish I was with you now. I wish I was with you. I don’t know how to live without you.”
Drena went on to write about her intentions to “spread the love and light” that Leandro made her feel. “You were so deeply loved and cherished and I wish only love could have saved you,” he concluded. “I’m so sorry, my love. Rest in peace and eternal paradise, my dear child.”

The actress tagged Leandro’s father, sculptor Carlos Mare, in her tribute on social media over the weekend.
He did not share any additional details about Leandro’s death. Robert, for his part, has not yet commented on the news.
Drena De Niro is recognized as the eldest daughter of Robert De Niro, out of a total of seven. The Oscar-winning actor adopted the girl in 1976 when he married her mother, Diahne Abbott. Drena then took the last name of her then stepfather.

Robert, 79, and Abbott, 78, divorced in 1988, more than a decade after they had their son Raphael, now 46.
In 2004, the former couple became grandparents when Drena and Mare welcomed their son.

Drena has been living in New York with the teenager and recently shared Mother’s Day photos with him on Instagram. “Today was a good day,” the Daredevil Films and Television founder wrote in a May slideshow.
Robert is also father to twins Aaron and Julian, 27, with Toukie Smith, as well as Elliot, 25, and Helen, 11, with Grace Hightower. He and his current girlfriend, Tiffany Chen, recently welcomed a baby girl, Gia. (AND)
