Netflix introduces more restrictions. This time bad news for… travelers

Some time ago, the Netflix authorities decided to turn previous announcements into action – therefore, the operation of the account sharing function with other people has been limited. However, the streaming platform did not stop there – this time the restrictions apply to travelers.

Limiting the account sharing function was announced by Netflix last year. Over time, the words themselves turned into actions – from now on, one account can only be used by residents of one household. Otherwise, be prepared for an additional fee, which in Poland is PLN 9.99. As it turns out, these are not the only restrictions planned by the platform’s authorities.

More changes to Netflix

Changes, which are appearing more and more on the platform, do not necessarily please subscribers. Dissatisfaction may increase especially now, during the holiday season. It turns out that the next restrictions introduced by Netflix apply to travelers. Subscribers who want to watch movies and series away from home – for example, while traveling – can use temporary codes sent by the platform. – Such a code unlocks access to it for a week or two (different countries have different limits), then you have to enter it again. After a month, the subscriber loses access by default. – explains the portal .

Lost account access – what next?

After the user loses access to his account by default, he will probably receive an appropriate message: temporary codes have been exhausted. More will be available later. What to do in this situation? All that remains is to contact the administration of Netflix. If the trip lasts more than thirty days, the user can request codes for the next month. However, all details should be determined by contacting the platform directly.
