It seems, therefore, that the life of the actress is a series of successes. It turns out, however, that Lawrence – like most – once experienced the bitterness of failure and rejection.

Before the actress starred in “The Hunger Games”, which brought her international fame, as a teenager she tried for a role in the filming of the “Twilight” saga. Years later, we already know that then lost to Kristen Stewartwho starred as Bella. It turned out that the casting directors made the decision almost instantly.

I auditioned for Twilight they rejected me immediately. They didn’t even call back. My life would be completely different. – although when it comes to career, it’s rather similar, because after starring in “The Hunger Games”, I still have to shoot different films so as not to be associated with only one franchise. After the role in “Twilight” it would be similar – admitted Lawrence on the podcast “The Rewatchers”.

Despite the initial bitterness of defeat after losing the casting, the star does not regret not getting the role in “Twilight”. Some time later, she played in “The Hunger Games” and they brought her worldwide fame – although, as Lawrence confessed in one of the interviews, She thought long and hard about accepting the offer. The actress was afraid of the reaction of fans of Suzanne Collins’s book waiting for this adaptation, but not only. Her doubts also concerned whether, after participating in such a popular production, she would not lose the chance to later receive roles in more ambitious films.
