Kazimierz and Krystyna were approached on the street by someone from @MeetCutesNYC to talk about their relationship. – Many, many years ago in Poland my friend had a name day. He invited my future wife and another girl, and I was supposed to “hit” the other girl, and he to her – said Kazimierz. “After a few shots of vodka, I realized it would be easier with it,” he added jokingly.
It turned out that the couple initially developed their relationship in Poland, where they come from. They both studied medicine and got married. Harder times followed. In 1975, Kazimierz emigrated to the USA, and Krystyna and her son could not leave for two years. Eventually, however, they succeeded. In the meantime, Kazimierz was learning the language and earning money. First, he made lemonade and sold it on the streets of New York, and later ran a taco and burrito stand. Today, the couple is happy and enjoying a peaceful life in the US.
