Back in 1999, the endearing Carmen Sevilla, who died in Madrid at the age of 92, starred in a scene that left viewers of the Surprise-Sorpresa program on Antena 3 speechless. Together with the then presenter of the program, shell velasco, witnessed the arrival of none other than Charlton Hestonthe legendary Hollywood actor with whom the actress and later television presenter had filmed the legendary filmMark Antony and Cleopatra in 1972.

In the video above you can remember that television moment. Preceded by a legion of Romans from the Via Crucis of Balmaseda, who participated in the program, Heston appears on a horse-drawn chariot, like the ones we saw in the movies, leaving Carmen Sevilla speechless and causing an ovation from the audience.

An emotional reunion 27 years laterin which they recalled how this film was filmed, inspired by the classic tragedy by William Shakespeare, which we have seen so many times and in which both actors starred.
