Journalists of the British tabloid “The Sun” revealed a plot of burglars who planned to rob Simon Cowell. The “Mam Talent” juror thanked the newspaper’s employees, and the police arrested a security expert suspected of involvement in the practice, which also targeted the homes of other celebrities.

Police accused the man of planning to break into the homes of a world-famous singer, TV star, Russian billionaire, sportsman and Chinese multi-millionaire. To this end, he was supposed to cooperate with another fraudster and m. inform him of the type of security introduced and provide him with a replica of the lock he installed in Cowell’s house so that he can practice entering it. Like “The Sun”, he opened the lock on the first try.

The accused head of the security company was to be hired by a TV show juror after £1 million in jewelery was stolen from Cowell’s home in 2015 while he, his partner Lauren Silverman and their nine-year-old son Eric were sleeping. The perpetrator was later sentenced to eight years in prison.
