It was more of a meeting in which the eight-time champion of the most significant tournament in the world is Swiss Roger Federergave advice Wale’s princess.

The meeting that took place on Sunday on the Wimbledon courts was rather a symbol of support for the players of the world’s most famous tennis tournament, which begins next Monday, July 3.

Federer, who retired last year, traveled to the British capital a few days ago to inaugurate two tennis courts in south London and took the opportunity to visit the All England Club, where he played a rally on Court 3 with Kate, Princess of Wales

“Any advice on my serve would be great,” Kate joked, to which Federer replied, “I think it’s perfect.”

This is the second time Federer has visited the All England Club since retiring at the Laver Cup in London last year. The previous one, as he shared with comedian Trevor Noah, almost ended dramatically because one of the complex’s security guards did not recognize him and did not let him pass.

It remains to be seen whether Federer, who was recognized this week at the tournament in Halle, where he won ten titles in his career, will go to Wimbledon this year, his first since retirement.

Last year, when his departure from the track was not yet final, the Swiss, along with other sports legends such as Martina Navratilova and Rod Laver, took part in the centenary commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the center court. (AND)
