Duo Destiny, i.e. Kinga Grześkow and Gonzalo Roque, are the winners of the 11th edition of the Polish “Mam Talent”. Their show delighted the jurors already during the auditions, because they received the Golden Button, thanks to which they immediately got a pass to the semi-finals of the program. “In such moments, there are simply no words. I will just get up and hit the Golden Button” – decided Agnieszka Chyliñska.
This extremely talented couple delighted the judges at every stage of the show. “It was just perfection, perfection” – said Agustin Egurrola. “I am paralyzed” – Ma³gorzata Foremniak commented on the duo’s final performance, which turned out to be a breakthrough for the group.
They won the Polish “Mam Talent”, but for them it was not enough
In 2020, Duo Destiny decided to follow suit and performed in a special version of the American “Got Talent” – “Mam Talent: Champions”. Their performances were evaluated by the most popular jury in the world, i.e. Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Alesha Dixon. It must be admitted that the duo managed to cope and received a lot of praise from the judges of the show.
“It was perfect. You didn’t make a mistake. It was sexy, romantic and breathtaking,” commented Heidi Klum. “Although I have seen such things many times, your performance was fresh and different for me. Your strength is extraordinary. You did a fantastic job. I am proud of you,” Alesha Dixon flattered the Polish duo.
But what impressed them the most was a short sentence by Simon Cowell: “You guys are stunning.” Also Howie Mandel was impressed by the performance of the Polish duo. Everyone unanimously stated that the Polish duo should have a chance to win, so they allowed them to the next stage.
The Destiny duo didn’t win the show, but they perform in an iconic venue
However, the Polish-Portuguese duo failed to win the American show. They reached the semi-finals, where they managed to be remembered by the judges. “You have to make it to the final six. You are amazing,” said Heidi Klum.
However, Howie Mandel was dissatisfied, who assessed Duo Destiny’s performance as a copy of what he saw at the audition stage. However, Alesha Dixon was of a different opinion: “In my opinion, you have made some new moves. What you are doing is absolutely amazing.”
After participating in the program, the Polish-Portuguese duo began a world tour, thanks to which thousands of people from around the world could admire their extraordinary skills. In the fall of 2021, the couple settled in the Parisian Moulin Rouge, with which they signed the longest contract in their career.
