What should be the perfect summer shoes? They should be, above all, comfortable, but their appearance is also important. Espadrilles are the type of footwear that meets all the above conditions.
Classic espadrilles are shoes whose characteristic element is a braided straw or jute sole. The most popular version is the one resembling moccasins or shoes. They have a built-up front and rear part of the shoe. Recently, an even more airy version of espadrilles, i.e. models with exposed toes, is gaining popularity. This type of shoes most often resembles sandals with its appearance, but the key difference is the jute sole characteristic of espadrilles.
Espadrilles are a very comfortable and stylish type of women’s footwear. Their sole is usually quite thick, which provides adequate cushioning and comfort while walking. This type of footwear always has some kind of fastener or binding, thanks to which the feet are more stable.

There are many different models of open-toed espadrilles on the market. Both fully material models and those made of e.g. eco-leather are available.
