“Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning” has been divided into two parts. The first of them will appear in cinemas in July this year, and the premiere of the second will take place next year. It is possible that we would have seen both productions much earlier, but their implementation encountered many problems on its way.
The first obstacle was the coronavirus pandemic, and then a fire on the set. The fire destroyed the scenography, which had been created for many months. In Poland, however, there was a lot of talk about the fact that the filmmakers wanted to blow up the historic bridge in Pilchowice in Lower Silesia for the purposes of the film. However, this turned out not to be true. This information was denied by the director of the film, Christopher McQuarrie.
Marcin Dorociński conquers the factory of dreams
What Poles are most interested in in this film is the participation of Marcin Dorociński next to the Hollywood star Tom Cruise. The 50-year-old actor decided to take a risk in 2021 and took part in a remote casting for the role in “Mission Impossible”, which he finally managed to get. However, Dorociński had to put in a lot of work to break through in Hollywood.
“The first casting I got from my London agency was ‘MI: Ghost Protocol’. I lost. Since then, I’ve made over 1,200 self tapes. And I lost them all. I won my first self tape last year, after over 10 years of painstaking recordings, great hopes and efforts, after 1200 previous painful and severe failures. […] Now I can share my joy with you “- Dorociński told social media in October 2022.
Apart from Dorociński, another Polish actor will also perform alongside Tom Cruise
Recently, it turned out that another surprise is coming for Polish fans of “Mission Impossible”. In addition to Dorociński, another Polish Mateusz Malecki will also appear in the same film, whom most of us can associate with such series as: “Belfer”, “Ludzie i bogowie”, “Chyłka. Kasacja”. He shared this information in an Instagram post.
“Anything is possible! The day has come when I can finally share a message I’ve been keeping secret for over a year. You’ll see me in the new ‘Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning. Part One’. When I got the call, I couldn’t believe that hard work, discipline, self-development and dedication finally brought this effect. […] See you in the cinemas.”
The actor did not reveal what role he would play in the latest film about the adventures of Ethan Hunt and it is not known whether he played in a joint scene with Marcin Dorociński. We will probably find out about this only on July 14, when the movie “Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning. Part One” will start playing in cinemas.
