The teacher and director of the Municipal Kindergarten No. 12 in Słupsk took a group of five- and six-year-olds on a trip to the Dinosaur Park in Łeba, where, in addition to watching prehistoric creatures, the children were taken to a haunted house. A recording of crying and terrified preschoolers and a teacher laughing at them has been posted online.

Initially, the director of the kindergarten shared the video on Facebook, but after the intervention of the mother of one of the children, she quickly deleted it. The recording of this incident can be seen on the portal. Attractions such as haunted houses are intended for much older children. No wonder, then, that many preschoolers cried and shouted that they wanted to go home. – Mom, I love you, where are you? I will die here! one of them shouts in the video. – We are scared! – we hear. Laughing, the babysitters calm the frightened preschoolers and assure them that they are holding their hand, but the children want to come back. The teacher categorically refuses. “We’re moving forward.” You have to be tough. (…) You see, you wanted to be afraid so much,” he says.

In an interview with the portal, the director of the facility, Aleksandra Bąkowska, argues that only those children who wanted to enter the attraction. The director also adds that in retrospect she acted wrongly. “I should go through this haunted house myself first to fully assess if it is an attraction that will bring joy to children rather than fear,” she admitted. Psychologist Małgorzata Gierszewska severely assessed the behavior of the teachers. In her opinion, the children were driven by real emotions. They screamed because they were afraid and called their mother or other people with whom they feel safe, and seeing the behavior of preschoolers, the babysitters should withdraw as soon as possible instead of leading them further. “It made me feel even more insecure,” he explains.
