  1. Pour the seeds into a cup or container.
  2. Pour water at room temperature to the height of the seeds.
  3. Put the vessel for 24 hours in a warm place, preferably a sunny window sill. The temperature should not be lower than 22 degrees.
  4. When the seeds are swollen and slightly slippery, plant them directly in the ground.

Homemade fertilizer for cucumbers. This spice is enough

Seedlings need a lot of nutrients to produce large and juicy fruits. This is why it is important to properly and regularly provide the plant with water, but also to take care of the right substrate. It is worth reaching for natural ways thanks to which field cucumbers will grow like crazy. The simplest fertilizer for cucumbers can be prepared from two ingredients that you will probably find in your spice cupboard. We are talking about turmeric and baking soda. How to prepare this mixture?

  1. Put a teaspoon of turmeric and a teaspoon of baking soda into the jar.
  2. Pour 500 ml of warm and boiled water.
  3. Spin, mix and leave for approx. 2 hours.

After this time, dilute the mixture with 3 liters of settled water and water the seedlings. Turmeric and soda fertilizer will strengthen the roots of cucumbers and protect them from fungal diseases and pests. Repeat the treatment once every two weeks. Care can be supplemented with reliable yeast. All you have to do is dissolve a cube (100 g) of fresh yeast in exactly 10 liters of warm, but not hot water, and then leave the mixture for at least an hour. After this time, water the seedlings. Yeast fertilizer should also be used once every two weeks.
