Venezuelan businessman and merengue singer Omar Enrique caused a storm by announcing the group’s visit RBD to his country until 2024, as part of a series of international artists who will perform in Venezuela.

RBD adds new dates to its reunion tour; Today is the last day to pre-sell tickets.

The cataloged “prince of merengue” revealed the information during a press conference he held on June 16, ahead of an event called “La rumba del merengue” scheduled at the CCCT facilities in Caracas.

“If I can confirm, for sure Luis Miguel will come in February and RBD in March next year,” Omar Enrique told reporters, adding that the musical events will take place at the monumental SimĂ³n BolĂ­var Stadium, in the country’s capital.

Although the confirmation of Omar Enrique initially caused emotions in the Venezuelan public, the manager of the RBD group did not take long to deny it, stating that there are no confirmed concert dates during the year 2024.

When does the RBD tour start?

There are still two months left until the start “I am Rebelde Tour”the sixth tour of the Mexican group RBD, which has become a youth phenomenon since its foundation in 2004, and which brings them back to the stage after their last meeting in 2008.

The tour is set to kick off on August 25th at the Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso, Texas, passing through other cities such as New York, Chicago, Denver, Las Vega, Miami, Orlando, among others.

He will then travel to Brazil for several shows at Allianz Park in Sao Paulo and at the Nilton Santos Engenhao Olympic Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

The quintet will then hit Mexican soil for their final shows at Monterrey’s Mobil Super Stadium, Guadalajara’s 3 de Marzo Stadium and Mexico City’s Foro Sol on December 1, according to the US outlet, confirming Guillermo Rosas’ Instagram post with the full schedule tours.

The musical group starred in a virtual meeting called “To be or not to be”, which took place in 2020, while the world was going through the Covid-19 pandemic. Absent on this occasion were Dulce MarĂ­a and Alfonso Herrera, who will not join the next concert tour.
