Acting wasn’t her only passion. She found a second home in Australia
Agnieszka Fitkau-Perepeczko is a graduate of the Warsaw theater school, which she graduated in 1966. Immediately after graduation, she went to London for three years to improve her financial situation. After returning to her homeland, she joined the Comedy Theater and also made guest appearances on the stage of Teatr Dramatyczny and Rozmaitości. Later, she went abroad again, this time to Australia, as a model for “Moda Polska”. She started to learn English, she also fulfilled herself as a photographer and finally decided to settle there permanently. However, her husband was not enthusiastic and could not find himself abroad, so when he returned to Poland, she decided to divide her life between two countries. In the meantime, she also began to develop a passion for writing, publishing e.g. columns in the monthly “Magiczna Quchnia”.
Despite her numerous responsibilities, she did not give up acting. She made her screen debut in 1968 with an episode in The Doll directed by Wojciech Jerzy Has. Later, she played many supporting roles in such productions as “Methodrama”, “Behind the wall”, “There is no rose without fire” or “Prisoners”, but in most of them she was not included in the end credits. The character of Simona Muller brought her the greatest popularity in the series, in which she appeared from 2003 to 2007.
