Krzysztof Daukszewicz breaks the silence. He confessed why he disappeared from “Contact Glass”

Although the scandal related to TVN24’s “Contact Glass” took place over a month ago, new facts come to light all the time. Krzysztof Daukszewicz decided to speak out and shared an entry in social media in which he explains why he stopped appearing in the famous program.

In recent days, the “Contact Glass” scandal has been on the tongues again. The main reason was the departure of Krzysztof Daukszewicz from the program. As a result, two other hosts also decided to say goodbye to “Glass” as an act of solidarity. On Saturday, Robert Górski announced his resignation, and at the end of the Sunday edition it was said that Artur Andrus would also stop appearing in “Szkle”.

After this information, Piotr Jacoń also decided to speak in the case, who revealed Daukszewicz’s change in relation to the whole scandal. Now the latter has published an extensive social media post in which he explains the real reason for his departure from the popular TVN24 program.

After the broadcast of the ill-fated episode, the satirist was suspended. However, as he wrote in a statement, after a few weeks he himself decided to leave the program. The reason was not the hate he had experienced in recent weeks, but a significant reduction in his role that he was offered.

I need to clarify one thing. I left the Contact Glass because I was offered to appear in it more or less like Jerzy Iwaszkiewicz with “Respecting You”.

“Today I feel as strong as Moldova after the match with Poland, so after reading all the attacks on my person, I declare that Mr. Jacoń has not yet been born who would make me a trance and a homophobe” – he added later in the entry .

The satirist also allowed himself a biting remark towards his critics. “I’m afraid, however, that in the legend of the editor’s supporters, one day there will be a narrative that on the unlucky day in the Contact School – Jarosław Kaczyński referred to the statement of Krzysztof Daukszewicz. Have fun, because fairy tales are never over a lot,” the post reads.

In the final part of the entry, Krzysztof Daukszewicz referred to journalists Magdalena Środa and Renata Kim, wishing them “further successful fantasies” about him. Magdalena Środa commented on Daukszewicz’s behavior for “Fakt”: “It’s inappropriate behavior. The question is, however, to what extent the rules of proper behavior apply in satirical programs, can’t they be treated a little looser there? But basically Daukszewicz made a transphobic joke, a conservative fart joke” .

Renata Kim, on the other hand, added a strong entry about him on Twitter. “Daukszewicz did not fuck up stupidity. He is just a transphobe. There is no point in defending him. ‘What gender is he today?’ Transphobia dressed in progressive feathers cannot be defended,” she wrote.
