Tom Holland is second to none when it comes to “Lip Sync Battle”. With his fantastic performance, he even surprised his partner Zendaya, who watched her lover’s performance with her mouth open and a wide smile. The actor, after six years, told what he thinks about his participation in the show today.

The idea for the show “Lip Sync Battle” came from the show of comedian Jimmy Fallon, where before, numerous stars pretended to perform other people’s songs. Viewers liked this part of Fallon’s show so much that a separate format was created based on it. Many celebrities attended it. Justin Bieber pretended on the vision that he managed to tame the personality and repertoire of Ozzy Osbourne, and Anne Hathway rocked on a huge ball like Miley Cyrus.

Tom Holland knocked the audience to their knees. His own girlfriend couldn’t believe it was him

However, one of the best performances of the five editions of the program turned out to be the show it provided to the viewers. The young actor shocked everyone with his dancing skills, sensuality and sex appeal, which, although pouring out of the performance, perfectly contrasted and complemented his boyish charm. In “Lip Sync Battle”, the movie Spider-Man appeared in 2017 with his partner – . Although his girlfriend was great playing Bruno Mars on stage and dancing in voluminous clothes to the rhythm of “24K Magic”, Tom Holland in this episode of the program was second to none.

The actor presented the audience with a dance that we all know from the music video. The young actor played the role of a well-known singer and “performed” the song “Umbrella” on stage. The show started innocently enough. Tom appeared on the stage wearing a hat and a suit with an umbrella in his hands, and a fragment of “Singing in the Rain” played from the speakers. It is true that Holland showed his dancing skills already then, but the real firecracker had to wait.

As the calm song turned into a big dance hit, the actor shed his polite clothes, which he exchanged for a sexy corset, latex shorts, tights and a wig. And it started. Holland felt Rihanna one hundred percent, and his girlfriend, admiring the performance from the side, could not believe her own eyes in what was happening on stage.

“I wouldn’t do it now”

After years with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor admitted that he was very happy with how it turned out (no wonder!). “I’m proud of it. I like that everyone remembered it for so long. It was an amazing time for me, life was changing before my eyes. Spider-Man was coming to theaters. I was on a roll,” says Holland.

When asked if he wanted to take a stand on toxic masculinity with his performance, Holland denied it. “I grew up in the most non-toxic male environment possible. I had no idea what I was doing was so forward-thinking and relevant. I just thought I’d put on tights and dance in the rain,” she admits.

The actor remembers that time fondly, but admits that today he would not decide to participate in the show. “Now I wouldn’t do it. I just don’t want to do TV shows if I don’t have to. I’d rather go play golf or do some personal stuff,” he confessed. The actor somewhat regrets that performing in the program is one of the things for which he received the most compliments in his life.
