An event

The act that took place in Quito was recorded in a video shared by his Tik Tok account. “He denied me entry… they generated acts of discrimination against Andy because he is a disabled person”a saying is heard that dramatizes the voice of a dog.

In the audiovisual recording, you can see how a young man with a guide dog tries to enter the place, and this is denied by a worker who shows that dogs are not allowed to enter.

“Today we need your support to make this video viral and prevent such acts from happening again. Thank you”it says in the legend accompanying the video.

Two of the young man’s acquaintances came to the scene and explained to the restaurant manager that he, as a disabled person, has the right to be accompanied by his guide dog. “There is no sign that says: pets free,” explained the worker.

The metropolitan ordinance Number 019 under number 9 defines as serious offenses “preventing the access of assistance and emotional support animals to public or private places and facilities for accommodation, food, transportation, recreation or otherwise; or that costs have been increased to enable their access”.

After learning of the incident, the food chain took to their social media to apologize to Andy and Kenshi. In a statement, they said they are deeply sorry for what happened to Andy, because they did not allow him the conditions to enter with his companion pet.
