Hans Zimmer is a German film music composer of Jewish origin. He is one of the most respected artists, and has won two Oscars for music – for “The Lion King” and “Dune”. He started his career in the 1970s and throughout all these years he is best known for combining instrumental music with modern sounds.
Hans Zimmer knows how to move the audience… and his partner!
His songs can be heard in many popular and recognized productions, such as: “Inception”, “Interstellar”, “The Dark Knight”, “Dunkirk”, “No Time To Die”, “Blade Runner 2049” and “Top Gun: Maverick”. On the other hand, the unique music from the films “Gladiator”, “Pirates of the Caribbean” or “The Last Samurai” has recently resounded live in many cities, because Hans Zimmer is currently on his European tour.
A particular situation took place during a show in London at the O2 Arena. The composer decided to surprise everyone and suddenly proposed to his partner Dina De Luca. The recording of the event can be found on YouTube and shows how the musician leads his chosen one by the hand and says: “One more thing. This is the woman I love. Apparently she loves me.” Then he addressed Dina directly:
I need to ask you something important. Did you close the back door? Is there milk in the fridge? Do we have any sorbet in the freezer? Will you marry me? asked Hans Zimmer.
All the gathered people liked this form of proposal very much and they rewarded the composer and his beloved with thunderous applause. After all this, the couple decided to embrace, which must mean that Dina De Luca said, “Yes!”. The 65-year-old is in the final phase of his tour, so he can still surprise his fans with something, but it will certainly not be as spectacular as during the concert in London.
