Azkena Rock reaches 48,500 spectators and slightly exceeds its record

The Azkena Rock festival in Vitoria-Gasteiz has reached the 48,500 spectators in its three daysa figure slightly higher than 48,000 last year which were his record so far, according to the organization’s calculation.
These figures confirm the generational change, since the faithful continue to attend the festival and in this edition they do so more accompanied than ever, since the number of families is exceeded againthat increases by 20% compared to the 2022 edition.
The first start-up of the Gaztea voucher, for young people from 15 to 23 years oldhas also been well received, with the attendance of young people being the 18% of the public.
The rock event has brought together more than 15 nationalitiesfrom the closest countries such as France, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Italy and Germany to the United States, Canada, Finland, Switzerland, Sweden and the Netherlands, among others.
The national public represents a 84%half of which comes from the Basque Country, followed by Madrid, Catalonia, Navarra, Castilla y León, Valencia, Aragon, Galicia and La Rioja.
Despite the heavy rain that tried to intimidate the attendees during the afternoon, the festival ended in style, thanks to Iggy Pop.
Azkena Rock Festival will return next year to the capital of Alava on the days June 20, 21 and 22, 2024.
